Tajikistan Claims About 100 Prisoners Sent to Russia-Ukraine War From Russian Prisons

Tajikistan claimed on Sunday that about 100 Tajik prisoners were sent to the Russia-Ukraine war from Russian prisons.

Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda told a press conference in the capital Dushanbe that Russian authorities did not provide any information on the issue and that there was no agreement on data sharing between the two countries.

Earlier, Tajik media announced the identity of 20 Tajik prisoners who lost their lives in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Russian authorities have not yet commented on the statement.
