Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda held a regular meeting of the Government of Tajikistan today, the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.
The Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zavki Zavkizoda, reported to the members of the government on the timely preparation of the sectors of the economy and the social sphere of the republic for uninterrupted and efficient work in the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024.
It was noted that in order to ensure the high-quality and timely implementation of the government decree “On the timely preparation of economic and social sectors of the republic for uninterrupted and efficient work in the autumn-winter period of 2023-2024”, a republican headquarters has already been created.
The heads of ministries, departments, state organizations and institutions were instructed to expand the preparation of energy, industrial and social facilities and the procurement of fuel and anti-skid materials before the onset of the winter period in order to ensure the uninterrupted operation of electricity and heat supply, the uninterrupted operation of roads and transport in the autumn-winter period 2023-2024.
Members of the country’s government also discussed issues related to the organization of summer holidays for children and adolescents in 2023, the allocation of a quota for the use of animal species listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan for hunting in 2023-2024.
Drafts of a number of laws and government opinions to them, including the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Administrative Supervision of Persons Released from Correctional Institutions”, the draft Air Code of Tajikistan, the draft law “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Adult Education” and the draft Law “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Specially Protected Natural Territories”, were sent to the parliament for discussion.
The meeting also discussed a draft agreement between the government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the government of the Republic of Korea on loans from the Economic Cooperation Development Fund, the draft Exchange Notes between the government of Tajikistan and the government of Japan within the framework of the Japanese Foreign Cooperation Volunteers Program.
The State Program for the Promotion of Employment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2027 and the State Program for the Development and Strengthening of the Scientific and Experimental Base of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan for 2023-2027 were adopted.
