Tajikistan Will Take Part in The International Forum to Combat Poverty

On July 14, Russia will host the first International Forum on Combating Poverty. Delegations from China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will take part in it, TASS reports with reference to Vyacheslav Kartukhin, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, head of the Dialog international discussion club.

“The forum will be held in Vladimir on July 14, it will discuss methods of combating poverty, improving living standards, as well as countering terrorism and extremism. The delegations of the Beijing Administrative Institute, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, representatives of the Kyrgyz Diplomatic Academy and the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan have already confirmed their participation,” Kartukhin said.

“The need for such events is related to the current geopolitical situation. Russia is now developing relations with the states of Central Asia and the Middle East. Our task is to strengthen this interaction on relevant topics,” Kartukhin added.
