BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 13 Active work is underway on the construction of the Obigarm-Nurobod highway in Tajikistan.

To support the government of Tajikistan in the construction of the Obigarm-Nurobod highway, the bank approved a $110 million grant in December 2019.

“There were some delays in the implementation of the project due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the work is currently continuing successfully. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024,” the ADB office in Tajikistan noted.
