The Ministry of Culture, the Youth and Sports Committee, the Television and Radio Committee were instructed to “widely reflect the preparation and process of conscription of citizens for military service.”

According to the order, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan is obliged to mobilize experienced doctors and specialists for a control medical examination of conscripts.

It is worth noting that the topic of conscription of young people into the army in Tajikistan has been relevant for more than a year. Unsuitable conditions, ill-treatment of soldiers, hazing and the death of young people in military units are the main reasons why young people refuse to serve in Tajik army.

In Tajikistan, young people from 18 to 27 years old are called up to serve in the army in spring and autumn.
