On April 6, Chairman of the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan Davlatali Said held talks with the working group of Saudi Arabia. The parties agreed that the current visit of a foreign delegation to Khatlon will make a great contribution to the establishment of bilateral partnerships, the creation of joint ventures, as well as the implementation of various investment projects. This was reported by the Khovar news agency.
Addressing his interlocutors, the Tajik official noted that cultural, humanitarian and educational relations between the two countries are a significant factor in the development of bilateral cooperation. He recalled that in this direction, various events and Days of Culture of Saudi Arabia were held in Tajikistan, aimed at further deepening friendly and partnership relations.
“Khatlon region today is one of the largest regions of Tajikistan with huge resources and opportunities for cooperation,” said Said.
In addition, it was noted that the parties have great opportunities to establish relationships in the field of tourism, which is a significant sector of the national economy of the republic. In this context, an agreement was reached on further consideration of the issues that have arisen in this direction.
