The second round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan was held today in the General Court of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Omani side was chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Harthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, and on the Tajik side, His Excellency Husseinzadeh Muzaffar, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the session, aspects of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries were discussed, and the two sides affirmed their keenness to continue developing them in various political and economic fields, in accordance with the vision of the leaderships of the two countries. During the meeting, they discussed regional and international issues of common concern.
The session was attended by His Excellency Zubaydullah Zabidov, Non-Resident Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Ibrahim bin Ahmed Al-Muaini, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman accredited to the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Ambassador Sheikh Hamad bin Saif Al-Rawahi, Head of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number of officials in my ministries Foreign affairs of the two friendly countries.
